OECD InfraDays 2026: Infrastructure Governance and the Blue Dot Network

OECD InfraDays 2026

The Blue Dot Network (BDN), in partnership with the OECD Public Governance Directorate, will convene Infra Days 2026 from 4 to 6 May at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris. The event will bring together policy makers, infrastructure leaders and investors to advance governance frameworks that support resilient, high-quality infrastructure.

Infrastructure plays a central role in driving economic growth, creating jobs and supporting climate resilience. At a time of fiscal pressure, rising climate risks and geopolitical uncertainty, governments face growing demands to deliver infrastructure efficiently while maintaining transparency, value for money and long-term sustainability. Infra Days 2026 will address these challenges by focusing on practical approaches to accelerate delivery while strengthening governance systems.

The programme will feature two public events: the launch of the OECD Infrastructure Permitting Report and a Roundtable on Governing for Infrastructure Resilience. These sessions will be complemented by targeted discussions among senior officials and experts, including meetings of the Network of Senior Infrastructure and Public Private Partnerships Officials and the Blue Dot Network Executive Consultation Group (ECG).

A key highlight of the week will be the Blue Dot Network Certification Ceremony, recognising a new cohort of infrastructure projects that meet internationally recognised standards for quality infrastructure. Through its certification framework, the Blue Dot Network provides a trusted, independently verified signal that supports investor due diligence and helps scale private capital flows to emerging economies.

Infra Days 2026 will place particular emphasis on improving permitting systems, promoting project efficiency, and enhancing resilience to climate, technological and geopolitical risks. By bringing together governments, investors and practitioners, the event will foster collaboration and share practical solutions to deliver infrastructure that meets both economic and societal needs.

Participants from government, the private sector, international organisations, academia and civil society are invited to join the public sessions and contribute to shaping the future of infrastructure governance.
