The Blue Dot Network at London Climate Action Week

With over 800 events, London Climate Action Week returns this June, bringing together global leaders across climate, finance and policy. The Blue Dot Network (BDN) will participate in key events from 23–25 June, focused on climate resilience, urban infrastructure, and private capital mobilisation.

Tuesday, 23 June | EDHEC Climate Research Conference

BDN is partnering with the EDHEC Climate Institute to apply its Scientific Climate Rating to the Angololo Water Resource Development Project, the first PIDA (Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa) project to receive BDN certification. Edwin Lau and Juan Garin of the BDN Secretariat will take part in discussions on integrating climate risk exposure into investment decision-making, including emerging approaches to assessing infrastructure resilience and climate-related financial impacts.

Wednesday, 24 June | Private Capital Working Group Launch

BDN will convene stakeholders for the launch of its Private Capital Working Group (PCWG), aimed at accelerating private investment into quality infrastructure through improved data, stronger evidence, and the alignment of BDN certification with investment decision-making.

BDN’s Edwin Lau will participate in a panel on unlocking finance for climate resilience in cities most exposed to climate impacts.

This session brings together city leaders, public financiers, MDBs, and private investors to address barriers such as the mismatch between local projects and investor requirements. Discussions will focus on building bankable project pipelines, strengthening coordination across financing systems, and mobilising private capital.

Through its participation in LCAW, BDN continues to promote trusted, high-quality infrastructure investment worldwide.
